Salaah Privacy Policy
Effective date: 12 October 2026.
Salaah is provided by SeeMango LTD. This policy explains how information is used when you use the Salaah app. The SeeMango website has its own privacy and cookie information.
Information kept on your device
Salaah stores your chosen location, prayer and calendar preferences, reminder settings, alarm settings, theme, Dhikr count and target, saved reflections and app-use counters on your device. The app and its widgets share necessary settings and cached content through an Apple App Group. Device backups may include app data depending on your Apple settings.
The current app does not require an account and contains no advertising or third-party analytics service. SeeMango does not operate a server that receives this app data.
Location, maps and weather
You may select a city manually or allow access to your device's location. Location is used to calculate prayer times, determine Qibla direction and request local weather. Optional background location access helps refresh settings and reminders after travelling. You can change permissions in iPhone or iPad Settings.
City search uses Apple Maps services. Weather uses Apple's WeatherKit services, which receive the location needed for a weather request. Apple processes requests under its own privacy policies. Weather and its attribution are cached locally. Selecting a manual city avoids granting device-location permission, but still sends the selected location to Apple when weather is requested.
Reminders, alarms and device features
Notifications and Fajr alarms use Apple's notification and alarm services and require your permission. Compass and motion data support Qibla guidance and visual interactions. App Intents and Shortcuts operate through Apple's system features. Apple controls the processing of Siri requests.
Saving an image to Photos requires permission. Sharing uses the system share sheet and sends the content you choose to the destination you select.
Purchases and external links
Apple handles App Store purchases and payments. SeeMango does not receive your payment-card details through Salaah. Source links and website links open third-party pages whose own privacy policies apply.
Support enquiries
If you contact SeeMango, we receive the information you send, such as your email address, message and any screenshots or diagnostic information you choose to include. We use it to respond and resolve your enquiry. Do not send unnecessary personal information or precise-location details. Contact ramish@seemango.com for support or privacy enquiries. We retain support enquiries for 12 months after resolution, then delete them unless we need to keep specific records to meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You can change app preferences and system permissions at any time. Deleting the app removes its local app data, subject to Apple's backup and shared-container behaviour. If you contact us about personal information contained in a support enquiry, we will respond in accordance with applicable law.
